Do you want to know the results of my baseline fitness assessment?

Yesterday I had my first fitness assessment at the Cleveland Clinic. I did a few musculoskeletal tests to measure handgrip, legs and arms strength and ranges of motion.












I also did a Cardiopulmonary Test. This is an exercise test performed on a treadmill. This test measures gas exchange in addition to pulmonary and cardiac activity. Breathing is done through a special mask during the test to measure the amount of oxygen going in and the amount of carbon dioxide going out. This is referred to as "gas exchange." This test determines if the exercise level achieved and maintained is normal for age, sex and gender. The maximum oxygen uptake or VO2max is a measure of a person's aerobic fitness.
